Welcome to Coffee Ethic
Coffee Ethic is a social enterprise started in 2011 which provides a high quality, fair trade and organic barista coffee service. We currently operate from sites across Hertfordshire and through our Coffee Ethic “On Wheels” service with our classic Citroen H Van and Tuk Tuk which you can see at events across the country. Coffee Ethic first opened a Coffee Cart in 2011 helping vulnerable adults by providing work experience and training in Barista skills. Any profits we make are re-invested back into our charity, Druglink.
Our staff are passionate about providing customers with high quality drinks and our volunteers with great training and opportunities. We work with statutory agencies, voluntary groups and social enterprises and we make a real difference to people’s lives. We offer our volunteers training which includes full barista training, food hygiene, first aid and customer service.
We are called “Coffee Ethic” because our service is grounded in ethical and social values supporting vulnerable people to re-integrate into work and society with all our profit being invested in our charity, Druglink.
Coffee Ethic offers mouth-watering blends of organic and fair-trade coffee on all our carts, van and tuk tuk. Our local supplier roasts the beans no more than two weeks before the coffee reaches your cup. This freshness offers a strong brew with a rich flavour! As well as coffee we offer a variety of traditional and fruit teas, hot chocolate and a choice of chilled and refreshing soft drinks. Coffee Ethic also offers a range of pastries, healthy snacks and treats for that afternoon boost!

Coffee Ethic is an important part of Druglink, a Hertfordshire based substance misuse charity operating since 1986. Registered Charity Number – 295384.
Coffee Ethic makes partners with a whole bundle of other organisations to make our social enterprise work well. Every one of our partners brings something vital to our operation; sometimes its volunteers, sometimes funding, sometimes locations – sometimes its something in kind like goodwill or a parking space! We really value our partners and really pleased to be working with them.
